3D MESH: Customised Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR)
Advance your reconstructive procedures with 100% customised titanium meshes. Designed via CAD-CAM technology and manufactured using Selective Laser Melting (SLM), 3D MESH provides perfect anatomical conformation for small, medium, and large bone defects.

Precision Meets Biology
The 3D MESH is an implantable medical device designed to keep regeneration material precisely inside the bone defect. By effectively separating bone tissue from soft tissue, the mesh protects the inserted biomaterial and guides the remodelling process according to specific, pre-defined volume parameters.
- Perfect Anatomical Fit: Adapts perfectly to the patient's bone anatomy, which significantly reduces surgical duration and risks.
- Medical Grade Titanium: 3D printed in medical titanium to ensure maximum biocompatibility, flexibility, and mechanical strength.
- Shaped Screw Holes: Engineered to guarantee maximum precision during fixation and facilitate the surgical procedure.
- Open or Closed Weave: Meshes are available in both open and closed weave configurations to suit your specific clinical preference

Available Mesh Sizes
Depending on the extent of the atrophy, the 3D MESH is categorised into three primary dimensions:
- Small: 20x20x25 mm (Designed for small reconstructions).
- Medium: 30x30x25 mm (Designed for medium reconstructions).
- Large: 60x30x25 mm (Designed for big reconstructions).
- (Note: Upon request, we can also provide a 3D-printed anatomical bone model and a resin copy of the mesh for pre-surgical testing).

The 100% Digital Workflow
We provide dedicated technical assistance from initial planning to surgical application.
Diagnostic Acquisition
The process begins with a Cone Beam CT (CBCT) of the patient's jaw, focusing on the defect area. The clinician simply uploads the DICOM file to the BTK team via the web portal. Open BTK upload portal
Digital Processing
The mesh is meticulously designed using CAD-CAM software to fit the patient's anatomy while safely preserving noble anatomical structures.
Case Approval
The prescribing dentist receives a customised report with three-dimensional project previews to review and confirm before production.
Production & Decontamination
The mesh is 3D printed using Selective Laser Melting, which guarantees microstructural homogeneity. After electro-polishing, the device is decontaminated and packaged, ready for in-office sterilisation.

Surgical Application & Removal
The 3D MESH is typically used in conjunction with autologous bone, heterologous bone, or synthetic biomaterials. It is securely fixed into place using cortical screws. We recommend utilising the BT SCREW Surgical Kit (available separately), which contains the dedicated pins, cortical screws, and instruments required for advanced fixation. The device must remain in situ for the duration established by the clinician. Once correct bone regeneration is achieved, the mesh is surgically removed (using the dedicated drivers) prior to or simultaneously with implant placement.
