Specifically engineered for the resolution of big atrophies, the MAXIT Surgical Kit provides all the specialised, extra-long instrumentation required for placing BTK's Zygomatic, Pterygoid, and Nasal implants.
Key Kit Components & Instrumentation
- Extra-Long Drills (HL & HR): Includes Twist Drills and DLC-coated Twist Drills in specialised lengths (up to 99.8 mm) to safely reach deep anchorages.
- Abrasive Drills: Specialised Abrasive Drills (3.75 mm) available in standard (82 mm) and short (52 mm) lengths for precise osteotomy refinement.
- Trajectory Management: Features dedicated 45° depth gauges (175 mm) and 55° parallelism pins to continuously verify complex insertion angles.
- Extended Drivers: Includes specialised manual wrenches (140 mm length) and a full suite of handpiece drivers, screwdrivers, and a JD Reversible Torque Wrench (up to 90 Ncm) designed for deep oral cavity access.
Optimised Milling Sequences
- For Zygomatic Implants (BT ZYGOMAX, ZYGO ROUND/FLAT): Twist Drill HL DLC 2.8 mm (600 RPM) -> Twist Drill HL DLC 3.2 mm (600 RPM) -> Abrasive Drill HL 3.75 mm (500 RPM).
- For Nasal Implants (BT RHYNO & SHIFT): Twist Drill HR 2.0 mm (600 RPM) -> Twist Drill HR 2.4 mm (600 RPM) -> Twist Drill HR 3.85 mm (500 RPM).
- For Pterygoid Implants (PTERIGO): Twist Drill HR 2.2 mm (600 RPM) -> Twist Drill HR 2.8 mm (500 RPM) -> Twist Drill HR 4.0 mm (500 RPM).
