Engineering Meets Biology

The IUXTA-3D implant is a custom-made medical device designed entirely around your patient's unique anatomy. Utilising Grade 5 Medical Titanium, the structure is manufactured via advanced 3D Laser Melting technology and refined with 5-axis milling for unparalleled mechanical precision.

  • Optimised by FEM Analysis: The device's morphology, support points, and anchoring are rigorously tested using Finite Element Method (FEM) load studies to ensure maximum strength and passive fit.
  • Screw-Retained Platform: Features a dedicated, integrated "BS" connection (a specialised M.U.A. with a robust through-screw) to guarantee accuracy and facilitate oral hygiene.
  • Advanced Surface Options: Choose between a highly smooth electro-polished finish, a rougher dual acid-etched surface, or a pink anodized treatment for optimal soft-tissue camouflage.

The 100% Digital Workflow: Step-by-Step

We provide dedicated technical assistance from the initial scan to the final surgery.

1. Diagnostic Acquisition & Upload

Acquire the patient's CBCT (DICOM) and intraoral/model scans (STL). For patients with existing metallic restorations or complete edentulism, a Double Scan Protocol using a radiopaque-marked radiological template is strictly utilised to prevent artifacts. Upload these files directly to the secure (Open BTK upload portal).

2. Virtual Planning & Approval

The BTK CAD team virtually models the IUXTA-3D structure onto the patient's anatomy, carefully evaluating abutment trajectories and screw positions. You will receive a personalised case report with 3D previews for your final clinical approval before production begins.

3. Manufacturing & Decontamination

The implant is 3D printed, milled, and then rigorously decontaminated in an automatic ultrasonic machine. It is packaged in a certified cleanroom, arriving at your practice in a double pouch ready for immediate autoclave sterilisation.

The Complete Surgical Package

When you order a IUXTA-3D case, you receive a comprehensive surgical kit designed to eliminate guesswork in the operating room. Every IUXTA-3D Delivery Includes:

  • The Titanium Implant: Monoblock structure with pre-milled MUA connections and protective cover caps.
  • Anatomical Bone Model: A high-resolution, semi-transparent 3D printed model of the patient's jaw to locate sensitive structures like the alveolar nerve and sinuses.
  • Implant Replica: A biocompatible resin replica for pre-surgical fitting tests on the study model.
  • Custom Surgical Guides: Patient-specific drilling guides to direct fixation screw preparation, also includes osteotomy guides if bone levelling is prescribed.
  • Immediate Loading Prosthesis (Optional): A semi-finished temporary prosthesis with titanium abutments can be manufactured and supplied prior to surgery for a true one-day rehabilitation.
  • (Note: Fixation requires the specialised BT SCREW Surgical Kit, which contains the necessary 2.0 mm or 2.3 mm cortical screws and instrumentation.)
