The Diagnostic Protocol (Double Scan Methodology)
A precise radiological guide is critical for virtual planning.
- Partial Edentulism (No Metals): A radiological guide is not required. Simply acquire an intraoral or laboratory scan of the master arch, antagonist arch, and mounting (exported as STL files).
- Partial Edentulism (With Metals) & Total Edentulism: A rigid radiological guide equipped with 10-15 radiopaque markers (2mm quartz balls) is required to prevent imaging artifacts. We utilise a "Double Scan" protocol: a first scan of the patient wearing the guide, and a second scan of the guide alone. Both scans must be exported in single-frame DICOM format.
MAESTRO Surgical Kit
The MAESTRO kit is the most complete guided surgery kit on the market, allowing you to operate on the PLUS (IS, IC, EC), IS KONE, and BT SAFE implant lines using just one kit.
- Colour-Coded Efficiency: Features an orderly, intuitive layout with distinct colour-coded procedures for immediate implant line identification.
- Comprehensive Instrumentation: Includes sharp lance drills, Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coated twist step drills, taps, countersinks, fixation pins to secure the surgical guide, and specialised bone profilers to level the bone crest around the implant neck.
- Guided Accuracy: All drills are guided by MAESTRO regular sleeves embedded in your custom 3D-printed surgical guide, ensuring perfect depth and trajectory.
Immediate Loading Prosthetics
For cases requiring immediate loading, the BTK Milling Centre can provide a semi-finished temporary reinforced prosthesis (made of multilayer drilled resin with a chrome-cobalt metal support) pre-manufactured to fit your MAESTRO surgical plan.
